The Advanced Implantology - Surgical Tecniques Program is designed for dentists who have working knowledge and experience in basic dental implant treatment and would like to further their skills with advanced surgical techniques. Attendees will learn the principles and surgical procedures required for advanced implant placement and bone grafting. Participants will have the ability to practice the course material through hands-on workshops. |

- X-ray Imaging. Utilization of cone beam CT and interpretation of images

- Implant protocols (one stage, 2 stage, immediate loading)
- Soft tissue management at the time of implant placement
- Second stage implant surgery
- Surgical procedures to enhance aesthetics
- Immediate v’s delayed implantation
- Multiple implants and parallelism
- Complications following surgical dental implant procedures
- Treatment complication
- Clinical indications and scientific background for bone augmentation procedures
- Bone grafts
- Election of the appropriate graft materials
- Particulate v’s bone grafts
- Membrane selection and bio-modification
- Video/Live Surgery – Clinical procedure – insertion of single or multiple dental implants with use of particulated bone graft and membrane
